The short version
- No sign-up. You can use every tool without giving us your name or email.
- Your name and gotra in the Sankalpam Helper stay on your own phone or computer. They are never sent to us.
- We only get your email if you choose to give it: for a reply to feedback, the Friday crowd update, or a sponsor inquiry.
- No ads. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.

Who we are
Plan My Darshan (planmydarshan.com) is a free, independent service run by AHAN Apps LLC, a company based in the United States. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean AHAN Apps LLC. Plan My Darshan is not affiliated with Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) or any temple.
What we collect

2. Things your browser sends automatically
- Site analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. We see totals such as pages viewed, referring site, country and device type, not who you are.
- Tool usage counts. When you use the Sankalpam Helper, we count the country, state or region and language you picked, and how you arrived (for example from our Instagram page). Your name, gotra and exact address are not included.
- Sponsor views and clicks. When a sponsor card is shown or tapped, we record which sponsor, where it was on the page, which page, and a rough region (India, the Americas, or elsewhere) guessed from your device's time zone. We don't attach your name, email or IP address to these counts. Sponsor links also carry a small tag so the sponsor knows the visit came from us.
- Standard logs. Like any website, our hosting and form servers briefly receive your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. These are used for security and to keep the site running.
3. What stays on your device
The Sankalpam Helper and panchangam run inside your browser. Your name and gotra are used there to build your sankalpam and are never sent to us. Your city or PIN code is only shared with us as a country and region count, or in full if you choose to send Sankalpam feedback. The site also keeps a few small notes in your browser's local storage, such as how many times you have visited, whether you closed the "add to home screen" banner, whether you installed the app, your last chosen place and language, and how you arrived at the site for this visit. A service worker may save copies of pages so the site loads faster and works offline. You can clear all of this anytime from your browser settings.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who helps us run the site
We use a small number of service providers who handle data only to provide their service to us:
- Amazon Web Services for hosting the site and our forms
- Cloudflare for page view analytics
- Google Fonts to load the site's fonts (your browser requests the font files from Google)
- Email providers to receive your emails and send the Friday update
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or if Plan My Darshan is ever transferred to another owner, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.
Links to other sites
We link to sponsors, TTD, Facebook, Instagram and other websites. Once you leave planmydarshan.com, their privacy policies apply, not ours.
How long we keep it
- Friday update emails: until you unsubscribe. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Feedback and inquiries: as long as needed to read, reply and improve the site.
- Sponsor view and click counts: kept as totals for sponsor reporting.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Where your information is stored
Our services are run from the United States and may use servers in other countries. Wherever it is processed, we protect your information as this policy describes.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it
- stop sending you emails (or just use the unsubscribe link)
Write to privacy@planmydarshan.com from the email address involved and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, laws such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the EU and UK GDPR, or US state privacy laws may give you further rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We will honour those rights.
For California and other US state residents: we do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
Children
Plan My Darshan is a family-friendly site, but our email and feedback forms are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before sending us your email. If you think a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served only over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and access to the information we keep is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect, so please don't send us sensitive personal details through the feedback form.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If we start collecting something new in a meaningful way, such as for voluntary contributions, we will update this page before that feature goes live.
